May 25, 2020We start from the premise that the success of any company is its economic profitability. Therefore, today we explain how to monetize your Cloud Computing and how it can help you to achieve your goals for this year.
A few days ago we published some overwhelming data which showed that 7 out of 10 businessmen who use cloud services (consulted for a study by KPMG, in collaboration with Forbes Insight from a list of 674 senior managers from 16 countries), confirmed that in their companies had increased the efficiency and cost savings. In addition, the 50% believed that cost reduction was still the main reason for the adoption of the cloud.
Well, let’s review what are those costs that can be taken even more advantage:
- Personal
The most obvious of all when it comes to hiring a Cloud service. Your team will be able to offer more value, on your IT manager, and not to do merely executor jobs. That is why you can cover other projects and opportunities that you could not deal with due lack of resources.
- Hardware cost
Cloud computing allows infrastructure providers as a service to buy large volumes of hardware at a very low cost, which means that the customer, you, only pay for the resources they use.
- Energy efficiency
Did you know that for every watt that is delivered to a server, 1.5 watts are wasted in overhead costs? With an infrastructure cloud provider you are going save this cost, to make your data center more efficient you would have to make a large technological investment that would only be justifiable if the number of machines and resources is so large as to make that investment profitable.
- Security
Security and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) are necessary to comply, and they have to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your company’s data. With a cloud provider you can reduce these costs (network and antivirus security software, external audits and your own physical security).
The goal of this year will be to get the most out of your company and take advantage of all the resources that Cloud Computing offers you. Remember that time can be paid with money and can even be profitable.
