Copilot in Power Pages is an AI-driven innovation that streamlines the construction and launch of enterprise websites. This set of enhancements allows the creation of forms, inclusion of text, integration of chatbots, and other tasks through a conversational and user-friendly interface, without the need for coding expertise. Copilot enhances the experience for users and site visitors, offering conversational interactions instead of traditional click-based navigation. However, it’s important to note that it’s currently a feature in the preview version and is not available for public sites.

To use Copilot’s AI features in Power Pages, your environment must be located in the United States, and the browser language must be set to US-English.

Quick Guide for Creating Your Website with Copilot on Power Pages:

With Copilot on Power Pages, you can create websites with the assistance of artificial intelligence.

1. Describe the website you want to create, and Copilot generates it for you: Copilot automatically generates a name, web address, as well as the design of the homepage and other pages.
2. The generated pages are added to the site map, which can be refined and edited later.

Follow these steps:

1. 1. Access Power Pages: Start by logging into Power Platform and accessing Power Pages. From the Power Platform menu or Microsoft PowerPages
      
      
   2. Description of the Site Using Natural Language: Craft a clear description of your desired site, specifying its purpose and features. Guide Copilot in constructing the website, such as organizing company training events.
      
      
   3. Selection of the Homepage Design: Customize your homepage based on Copilot’s generated design. Confirm the site’s name and address, accepting or requesting new designs until satisfied.
      • First, it asks us to confirm the website name and its address.
      • For this guide, we’ll stick with what Copilot suggests, and we click Next.
      • In a few seconds, Copilot provides us with a site option.
        
      As we can see, Copilot suggests texts associated with the context of the initial request. One of the most useful options is being able to ask it to provide more choices using the “Try again” button. If we agree with the proposal, we press NEXT to continue.
   4. Creation of Additional Pages Allow Copilot to suggest relevant additional pages based on your site’s description. Select and refine as needed for a complete website construction. If we agree, we just need to select them and press the “Done” button, and Copilot would initiate the complete construction of the website. Due to Copilot’s reliance on Generative AI capabilities, it is very likely that for different requests, it may return different results or proposals.
      
      It will take a few minutes until the website is created.
   5. Completion and Customization: Access the design studio to fine-tune and customize your site post-construction. Utilize Copilot’s chat for further assistance in site customization and design. Now all that’s left is to test the site:
